As a non-profit that was set up to serve the community of analog astronauts, we are an independent and unbiased organisation that is well placed to create a peer reviewed scientific journal. This project was first announced publicly in 2022 and we believe that we now have the resources to develop it.

The Analog Astronaut Research Journal™ (AARJ) will serve as a global platform connecting the scientific, technological, and humanistic aspects of space exploration. Grounded in rigorous research and inspired by the drive to explore, AARJ focuses on how analog environments prepare humanity for extraterrestrial challenges while enhancing our understanding of life on Earth.

Submissions are open. Deadline for the first issue in 1st June.

We invite all those in and connected to the space analog community to contribute original work that advances our understanding of space exploration and human performance in challenging environments.
